Via U.S. Postal Service: Inmates’ families and friends can to send prisoners funds by way of postal mail and have to send it to the address below and do so in accordance with the steps listed below:

The funds have to be in a money order made out to the prisoner’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. You are advised to use a post office money order, since all non-postal money orders processed through the National Lockbox will be subject to a 15-day hold, and in this time the inmate will not have access to the deposit. The Bureau of Prisons will return to the sender funds that don’t have appropriate prisoner information if the envelope you sent it in has an adequate return address. Cash and checks can’t be deposited so don’t send any checks or cash.
