From West (Lake City): SR-100 approximately 23 miles to SR-121 (Lake Butler), turn left, go approximately 6 miles, just outside town of Raiford turn right (east) onto SR-16. Go approximately 3 miles, cross New River Bridge. East Unit is on the left. From North: From I-10 take Exit 335 (SR-121 South) approximately 19 miles to SR-16 East. Make a left turn and go approximately 2.5 miles and cross the New River bridge. East Unit is on the left. From South: Take US-301 to SR-16. Go west approximately 11 miles. East Unit is on the right.

How to Send an Inmate Money

Family, friends, or other sources may send funds to prisoner’s Commissary accounts with Western Union or by mail.

Via U.S. Postal Service: Inmates’ families and friends can to send inmates funds in the mail and must send money to the address below and do so in accordance with the directions listed below:

The deposit has to be in a money order made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is advisable to use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders processed through the National Lockbox will be placed on a 15-day hold, in which the prisoner will not have access to the deposit. The Bureau of Prisons will send back funds that don’t have appropriate inmate info but only if the envelope it was sent it has a return address. Cash and personal checks can’t be deposited so do not send any checks or cash.

Victim Notification

The Department of Justice Victim Notification System (VNS) is a system that provides victims with information pertaining to their case and/or any defendants in the case. You will receive a Victim Identification Number (VIN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that will allow you to access VNS via the internet or by phone. Here, you will find information about future court hearings, historical court events, and detailed information about the defendant. This will include criminal charges filed, the outcome of charges, sentence imposed, custody location, projected release date and any other release information. The VNS website is updated daily. You will also receive any ongoing information by mail or email.
