Anyone may add funds to prisoner’s accounts with Western Union and the U.S. Postal Service.

Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends can choose to send prisoners money through the mail and have to send the moneyh to the address below and follow the directions shows below:

The deposit have to be a money order that is made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is best if you use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be held for a 15-day hold, and in this time the prisoner will not get the funds. The Bureau of Prisons will return to the sender funds that do not have correct inmate info if the envelope has a return address. Cash and personal checks can’t be deposited to the inmate’s account so do not send any checks or cash.

The Department of Justice Victim Notification System (VNS) is a system that provides victims with information pertaining to their case and/or any defendants in the case. You will receive a Victim Identification Number (VIN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that will allow you to access VNS via the internet or by phone. Here, you will find information about future court hearings, historical court events, and detailed information about the defendant. This will include criminal charges filed, the outcome of charges, sentence imposed, custody location, projected release date and any other release information. The VNS website is updated daily. You will also receive any ongoing information by mail or email.

    My fiance is in the minimum facility in son and i were finally able to go see him,as we went into visit,my son and i were a lil scared because it was are 1st time goig into a prison,our son is as we were going to the visiting room,aFemale gaurd approached me with,who let you in here looking like that,i was like,looking like what,i wore a pair of long grey dress pants,a nice blouse,and heel’s.she then pulled me away from my fiance and son,rudely might i add,she took me to the check in counter,and was being very rude and cold,she said to me i’m not letting you in to visit him,you dont even have a bra on,at that time i just didnt know or what to do hear,i was dressed appropriately,and i did have a bra on,i am also a very well indowd women,i then had turned to see my son and fiance and the look of concern on our son’s face,not to mention was then shift change and to my left were standing all male gaurds,the female gaurd was not going to let me see my fiance,so i ended up pulling up my shirt in front of all those men to show or should i say prove to her that i was wearing a bra.i was not expecting any of this kind of behavior,it was tasteless,and uncalled for,if the check in person had a problem w/my attire,she wouldn’t have let me through.i was violated and humiliated in front of 7 or 8 male gaurds bye mrs carpenter.i think her problem was,i have large breast.but they were not showing of any cleavage.she made me take my shirt and pull it up and back,i was choking the whole time.and not to mention looked stupid.i have gone back to see my fiance,and thank gosh i dont run into son will not go back,for 1,no son wants to see their dad in prison,and for 2,the way i was made us all uncomfortable,and i was so embarressed to go in visiting room.she did this in front of ppl going into to visit their loved one’ son,7-8 male gaurds,my can ya do right.and i also think the staff treat the public,well family members like shit.we didnt comitt any crime,we are there for our loved one’s,and to help them get through their situation’s,and to let them know,we care and love them.I love that i am able to spend time with my fiance.i hate what this has done to our son,now it’s harder on both of them.he’s too afraid to go back was just and is unfair to me and my son,and my fiance.
