How to Send an Inmate Money

Anyone can send money to these Commissary accounts using Western Union and the U.S. Postal Service.

Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends are able to send inmates money in postal mail and have to send funds to this address and follow the policies listed below:

The money must be in the form of a money order that is made out to the prisoner’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is advisable to use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be placed on a 15-day hold, during which the prisoner will not get the funds.
