Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends are able to send inmates funds by way of postal mail and have to send funds to the address below and follow the directions listed below:

The deposit have to be a money order that is made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is advisable to use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be held for a 15-day holding period, and in this time the prisoner will not get the money. The Bureau of Prisons will send back money orders that don’t have valid inmate info but only if the envelope you sent it in has a return address. Cash and personal checks won’t be deposited to the inmate’s account so don’t send any cash or checks.
