Take I-10 East towards Tucson and exit on 211B. You will then travel east on Hwy 87 approximately 4 miles to Arica Road. Turn left on Arica Road and continue to the second prison on this road.

Saguaro Correctional Center prisoners can’t take phone calls, so you can’t call your inmate, but, there are cases when it might be necessary to have the phone number to the prison.

There are special steps that you must follow when sending a package or letter to a prisoner. If you do not then letter or package might be returned to you.

Correctional facility guards open and read all incoming general mail and packages. Received general mail and packages is able to be read as frequently as is deemed necessary to maintain security or monitor any problems having to do with any inmates.

Each state prison has a Commissary that serves to provide inmates an account for inmate money and for buying items not provided by the correctional facility.

Friends, family, or other people may send funds to these Commissary accounts using the U.S. Postal Service and Western Union.

Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends can to send prisoners money by way of the mail and will have to send the money to the address below and follow the steps provided below:

The money has to be a money order made out to the prisoner’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. You are advised to use a U.S. Postal Service money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be placed on a 15-day hold period, during which the inmate will not have access to the deposit. The Bureau of Prisons will send back any funds that do not have valid inmate information if the envelope you sent it in has an adequate return address. Checks and cash won’t be accepted for deposit so don’t send any cash or checks.

The Department of Justice Victim Notification System (VNS) is a system that provides victims with information pertaining to their case and/or any defendants in the case. You will receive a Victim Identification Number (VIN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that will allow you to access VNS via the internet or by phone. Here, you will find information about future court hearings, historical court events, and detailed information about the defendant. This will include criminal charges filed, the outcome of charges, sentence imposed, custody location, projected release date and any other release information. The VNS website is updated daily. You will also receive any ongoing information by mail or email.
