Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends can to send inmates funds through postal mail and will have to send money to this address and follow the steps given below:
The deposit must be a money order made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is best if you use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be placed on a 15-day hold period, and during this period the inmate will not get the funds. The Bureau of Prisons will return to the sender funds that don’t have appropriate inmate information but only if the envelope you sent it in has an adequate return address. Checks and cash will not be deposited so don’t send checks or cash.
