Anyone may add money to prisoner’s accounts with Western Union or by mail.
Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends are able to send prisoners money by way of postal mail and will have to send those funds to the following address and do so in accordance with the policies listed below:
The deposit has to be in the form of a money order that is made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is advisable to use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders processed through the National Lockbox will be subject to a 15-day hold period, and in this time the prisoner will not have access to the money. The Bureau of Prisons will return to the sender money orders that do not have appropriate prisoner information if the envelope has an adequate return address. Personal checks and cash can’t be accepted so don’t send checks or cash.

You will also receive any ongoing information by mail or email.
