How to Send an Inmate Money
Family, friends, or other sources may send funds to inmate’s Commissary accounts by sending it by Western Union or by mail.
Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends can choose to send prisoners funds by way of the postal service and must send the money to the following address and follow the directions provided below:
The money must be in a money order that is made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. You should use a postal money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be held for a 15-day holding period, and in this time the inmate will not get the money. The Bureau of Prisons will return any funds that don’t have valid prisoner information but only if the envelope you sent it in has an adequate return address. Personal checks and cash cannot be deposited to the prisoner’s account so don’t send checks or cash.

Inmate Visitation Schedule
Visitation is by appointment only Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with 1˝ hour intervals and on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with one hour intervals except holidays. Appointments can be made by contacting the visitation officers at (910) 618-5574, Ext. 235, Monday thru Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here, you will find information about future court hearings, historical court events, and detailed information about the defendant. This will include criminal charges filed, the outcome of charges, sentence imposed, custody location, projected release date and any other release information. The VNS website is updated daily. You will also receive any ongoing information by mail or email.
