The driver of a white van mowed down pedestrians on a busy street north of downtown Toronto killing 9 people, and injuring 16 more.
The suspected driver of the van has been arrested and is in custody.
Officials are describing this as a deliberate act, as an attack.
According to police, the attack happened in the North York area at the intersection of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.
