Anyone may deposit funds into these accounts by sending it by Western Union and the U.S. Postal Service.
Via U.S. Postal Service: Inmates’ families and friends can choose to send prisoners money through postal mail and have to send money to the following address and do so in accordance with the policies given below:
The deposit has to be a money order that is made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. It is advisable to use a U.S. Postal Service money order, since all non-postal money orders that are processed through the National Lockbox will be held for a 15-day hold period, and during this period the prisoner will not get the money.
