  1. Edwina C says:

I came to Rivers CI t visit my son. It is unfortunate that my granddaughter and i was caught in traffic and arrived after the cutoff time which was unknown. Officer Hayes seemed enlightened by the fact we didn’t know and said it was up to the inmate to tell us this. I’m not saying rules should be changed but if it were posted in your facility as well as this prisonhandbook. When asked to speak with the supervisor instead of speaking with Mr. Hinton, (supervisor) it was relayed through an officer. The practice here is unprofessional and without empathy to the family of your inmates.

    • So true. They are very rude and unhelpful to the MAX. It is so sad that they already treat the inmates like trash and also the families. I tried to be proactive and call to make sure that my family member can have visits before I travel hours with my children and they still me they do not have that information. They said the inmate suppose to give me that information. SMH how do the inmate suppose to tell they families anything if you not allow them to use the phones and they on lock down all day every day. I’m trying my best to act ugly but I got it happening very soon. They act like we asking them for much but a simply questions and just to visit our love ones
