Take I-85 to Salisbury and exit onto Webb Road (Exit 70). Take Webb Road west to N.C. 29 where you will see a stoplight. go straight through the stoplight until you come to a stop sign. Go straight at the stop sign and the prison is approximately one-half mile on the right.

How to Send an Inmate Money

Family, friends, or other sources may add money to prisoner’s accounts with Western Union and the U.S. Postal Service.

Via U.S. Postal Service: An inmate’s family and friends can to send prisoners funds by way of the postal service and must send the money to this address and do so in accordance with the directions given below:

The funds must be in the form of a money order made out to the inmate’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. You should use a post office money order, since all non-postal money orders processed through the National Lockbox will be subject to a 15-day hold, in which the prisoner will not get the money. The Bureau of Prisons will send back any funds that don’t have valid inmate info but only if the envelope you sent it in has an adequate return address. Cash and checks will not be deposited so do not send any cash or checks.

The Department of Justice Victim Notification System (VNS) is a system that provides victims with information pertaining to their case and/or any defendants in the case. You will receive a Victim Identification Number (VIN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that will allow you to access VNS via the internet or by phone. Here, you will find information about future court hearings, historical court events, and detailed information about the defendant. This will include criminal charges filed, the outcome of charges, sentence imposed, custody location, projected release date and any other release information. The VNS website is updated daily. You will also receive any ongoing information by mail or email.
